Burnaby City Council Christmas Card Contest WINNER

City of Burnaby – Councilors

To help celebrate this festive time of year, City of Burnaby asked the local schools to create our City’s holiday greetings. It is opportunities like these that help demonstrate the artistry and skills of these young students, and the great potential of this future generation.

In total, City of Burnaby received 148 pieces of artwork representing the students’ own visions of a true Burnaby holiday. The only criteria these fourth grade students were given is that the design should represent the holiday season in our city.

Nine of these designs were chosen to be featured on holiday cards that will be sent out this year on behalf of the City of Burnaby and their Councilors.

South Slope studentKC Albano, Div. 5 was one of these winners!

All of the children who submitted a drawing will receive a small gift of appreciation from the City for their creativity and hard work. The nine students whose designs were selected for this year’s holiday cards will also receive a collection of Burnaby items, including a reproduction of their artwork.
