“It always seems impossible until it’s done” –Nelson Mandela
Ms. Binns’ Kindness Club approached Ms. Holliday, Ms. Bennett and our PAC earlier in the year with a lofty plan to have an inclusive walkway painted somewhere on our school grounds. The goal for them was that we would use the rainbow to symbolize that every person belongs in our community, no matter who they are, where they are from, or who they love. Fast forward to today, and our inclusive walkway has been completed! Our Kindness Club and school community couldn’t be prouder.
Thank you to the students in our Kindness Club for this inspiring idea, and for helping us organize our “School Swag” fundraiser to help fund this. What incredible leaders we have at South Slope/BCSD!
