Welcome back everyone!
We are excited to re-connect with returning South Slope students, as well as greet our new students and families. We hope everyone has had a wonderful summer. I look forward to serving the South Slope community this year.
Our schedule for the first week of school is designed to welcome new families, facilitate a smooth and engaging beginning, re-connect with friends and teachers and determine our school enrolment and organization.
On Tuesday September 8th all returning students will go to their last years classroom for one hour. If you are new to South Slope, enter thru the main doors and gather in the main atrium, just past the office. Ms. Deo, our Head Teacher, will greet you & escort your child to their assigned classroom.
We expect students will know who their new teacher is early in the second week of school.
Students do not need to bring any school supplies on Tuesday. For classes Wed to Friday, teachers will let you know what supplies to bring for the first week.
Our Hot lunch program starts Wed. Sept 9th – click here to purchase online (from Sept 8th).
We ask families to also purchase their child’s school supplies and school planner through School Cash Online, as well starting Sept 8th.
